Supporting Wetlands & Waterfowl
Boles West Run Ranch is proud to partner with Ducks Unlimited to protect critical wetland habitats. Our 80+ acres of managed wetlands provide essential resting and feeding grounds for migratory waterfowl.
Through science-based water management and habitat restoration, we support hundreds of ducks and countless other species of birds and wildlife each season. We're committed to DU's mission of wetland conservation for generations to come.
Learn About Our Conservation Programs
"Protecting lands like West Run Ranch is critical to sustaining water resources, wildlife habitat and the natural systems that define Florida. Through partnerships with dedicated landowners like the Boles family and conservation organizations, we can preserve important landscapes while enhancing water quality and ecological function. We appreciate the family's long-term commitment to conserving Florida's natural resources."
"Ducks Unlimited is proud to support the permanent conservation of West Run Ranch in Putnam County and applauds the landowner's commitment to safeguarding their property in partnership with the St. Johns River Water Management District. Protecting and restoring wetlands is central to our mission, and we look forward to working alongside the landowner to pursue wetland restoration and habitat enhancement projects on the property. The conservation of this land, paired with future restoration efforts, will improve wildlife habitat, bolster water quality, and provide lasting benefits to the region's natural resources."
